Making a brooch pin

hey all

My leaf pendants are all done and dusted now and I'm rally happy with them and moving on to the next project, which is making leaf brooches from some of the larger silver spoons I've got. The thing is I'm not sure how to do a brooch pin on the back.

Anyone got any links to good tutorials online?

I'm going to take a pic now and upload it so you can see what I'm dealing with and offer some advice.
