I'd be interested to know on what basis you sold your work through the hairdressers. I'm asking because I had a similar proposition to sell through my local hairdressers but it was left at that and to discuss it further when I next came in for a cut. Did you do it through sale or return sort of thing and left your pieces in their care, or did they buy the peices from you. You've probably done it a totally different way!!!

We agreed the shop would have 15% of the sale price. I'm not sure if that's about the usual amount, but I was happy with it so that was the main thing.

I would be over the moon with that, as far as I know a lot of shops take 50% so 15 is amazing

congrats on your first sale, hopefully it will be the first of many. I hope that you don't mind me saying and not to hijack your thread, but I had my first jewellery party on Sunday and it was a success, so I now have the great feeling you have too. So lets pat each other and wish us both success. I have had great advise from the good folks of the forum by reading tips for others. Once again, good for you

Well done, its so lovely to sell items is'nt it.... You are so lucky to have your jewellery in the hairdressers xx,,, Usually when i go to get my hair done i make sure i wear some really nice jewellery, there are 6 girls working there and i have sold quite a few items just from doing that!!! Great is'nt it xx
