    Default Rob Johnson

    Just a quick question.

Can anyone remeber when Rob's sale is? I've been saving my pennies this month so I can hopefully pick up a few bits.

this guys got a good web site, varied and interesting, not to mention, commercial design ideas......im not into beading, but, this has interested me, so while its obviously not lit some lampworkers fires, the web site, pictures, designs and finnish are better than a few sites i have looked at.

I think it is all down to sex! There are not a lot of male lampworkers around compared to female...and I think Rob makes beads that appeal to a more rugged aesthetic. It takes all sorts to make a world...and it is great to have a variety of looks and design ideas in lampworking too!

Ben: Heh, really? I like a bunch of his organic beads, but his site's a MrSite one, so it's more or less like all the others. (I do think those animated gifs in the menu were a tad ill-advised).
