    Default New deal

I've been Dole scum for a while now and tomorrow I've got to go see someone about going on the New Deal. I'm scared they'll make me give up my jewellery diploma course and throw me into a crappy job somewhere.

I'll just go and kill myself now shall I?

No, Coco. Don't kill yourself until you're sure they'll make you giveup the jewellery.

To be serious for a moment - a friend of my son's was heavily into writing music and new deal actually sent him to a local recording studio to learn the technical side of production. So your glass might be half full, you never know.

We've been dole scum for a while now too. But last week my OH got offered a short term job. So we are no longer on the dole, but still feel like scum (especially as I've managed to insult Boo without even trying today).

No Coco, don't kill yourself just yet, love (think of the mess!)

Just go in there and be really passionate about what you're training to do. Tell them what your ideal job is (part time in Cartier to fit around your college course) and I'm sure they'll be relieved to find someone who's enthusiastic about their chosen trade
Good luck & keep us updated

Totally agree with Di, they might come up with an idea to help you in your chosen career and we would miss you if you kill yourself, therefore that's not an option !!
