    Default Charity bits and bobs

Some bits I have made for my charity stall on Dec 6th! Pendant at top right is not polished yet.
Left to right Topaz & Amethyst pendant, garnet chain drops for earrings, amethyst drops for earrings, Moonstone & garnet pendant, Topaz heart pendant, amethyst ring and solid silver and heart pendant. I have been making simple jewellery (beading, earrings etc) for about 2 years and I have been silver smithing for 2 weeks... I am teaching myself and it seems to be going ok! My local jeweller kindly explained a few essentials to me about a fortnight ago and here is the result.
Sometimes it is just easier to blame it on the gremlins...

Honestly - he is absolutely fantastic, nothing is too much trouble - it was him that suggested I have a go! He even wrote out my 1st Cooksons shopping list for me with all the bits I needed!

Blimey, if you've come on so well in 2 weeks, what will you be like in a month?
