the tree was £5,000
£800 of that was what the bath stone base cost to the forge.
took about 2 weeks to make on and off.
i had to wire brush all the scale off and polish the ends of the branches.
the tree has been lacquered to stop rust.
it weighs about 450kg in total with the base.
i intend to make one out of silver when i get the time and have the money
to buy the silver needed.
going to use it for displaying jewellery.
That tree is exquisite!! (I can just imagine it in my hallway )

Wow! A silver jewellery tree. That would be amazing....smaller though I presume?
Wow I love the tree - and would love to see photos once it has it's leaves.

Fab, Fab, Fab Tree!!!!
Amazing work!
Had a google...didn't realise there were so many forges in the Bristol area. The one I knew about was Almondsbury as I pass it every so often.
