    Default First smithed ring

Okay - let's try to attach a picture. I've been to a silversmithing course and after 6 whole lessons I finally finished my first ring.

It was supposed to have a hammered look and some of the malachite got sanded off but I'm at least partly happy with it. By the way, have you guys kept your first creation, given it away, or sold it?

And since I'm attaching pictures anyway, the other two are metal clay pieces. One is made from a seed pod of a giant poppy, with an 8 mm cubic zircon in the center, and the other one is an alder tree cone.

That ring looks fabulous - and very comfortable to wear too Congratulations!

I kept one of my first pieces, and gave the other to my mother

    Nice silver clay pendants too.

Great looking ring, I love malachite. I love the look of your AC pendants, the shape and texture is lovely.

I'm hoping for world peace but I'd also like something shiny as well...
