    Does anyone know if its possible to get silver siligree wire in the UK?

    I have never seen any advertised Lyndsay - not that that means it's not out there somewhere...

    I think most people make their own..it was how I was taught.
    Top tip for filigree, make ultra fine solder by filing your solder and using the dust!

    Emma,

    Sorry for the delay in replying. I have that book and the author had spoken about using commercial twist wire. I just thought it might have been an easier option. I'm just not great at getting an even twist in wire.

    Guess I just need to persevere.
