I keep reading posts from the future! (I'm not sure if it is my computer or the forum or what it could be) but having had a hard day (it is Monday!) its soooo confusing!!!

Cracked it! When you view the posts without logging in, they ARE in the future, yet once you log in the time is correct....spooky!

Most forums will default to a particular chosen time - often GMT, it's often used as a global standard. So that individual users can see times relative to their local time zone, each member can set their time in their own profile.

So what you experienced, was perfectly normal. One time for the forum to all publicly viewing it, then when you logged in, you saw it displayed in the time format you chose in your profile.

At the bottom centre of each page will be a comment like this:

All times are GMT. The time now is 08:48 PM.

So you can see just what time format is being used. Once logged in, this should be whatever you chose. I would have expected at the moment, now we've gone to GMT that someone in the UK should see both the same, but I'm not as familiar with this forum software.
