I always used to feel really hard done by as a December baby. Everyone else had beautiful sparkly gemstones and I had the turquoise! I has grown on me though...so long as it is the real stuff and not the imitations! ...but I love opals the best...when is that ...May?? Anyway - I'm looking forward to those piccies!!

Oh I love the long earings with the bobbles! They are so gorgeous.

    Nicely done.

I love them too. I'm another one who felt hard done-by at having turquoise as my birthstone but really like it now. (PS I bought a turquoise coat today in Per Una which called to me as I walked past and wouldn't let me put it back on the rack!)

LOL - I think turquoise is a grown ups' stone because I didn't used to like it much at all; no sparkle! Now I love it. Same with my own birthstone, peridot. Okay so it sparkles but I never really liked the colour - I have quite a bit of the stuff now.

I love those long turquoise earrings with the squashed balls (aka known as bobbles) on. Brilliant stuff. Well done you.

Yep - I wouldn't have minded having it as my birthstone so much if I'd been given jewellery like that! All very lovely!
