    Default White metals?

What are nice metals to use besides silver, platinum etc that I can solder and melt easily without any complications like turning silver pink if left in the same pickle pot or needing fancy stuffs?

i think its going to have to be silver, platinum, palladium or white gold as anything else seems to be a lot softer, and may contaminate your equipment, or simply wont solder.
stainless steel and aluminium would be difficult to solder, and the other common metals are used for toy soldiers ect, and are lead and tin mixtures, pewter and so on, all low temperature stuff...
