    Question Snapeez jump rings

I've just discovered these whilst researching tornado crimps (thanks MizG for the tip for those - I'm planning to get some to try)
Has anyone here used Snapeez jumps rings - how do they work exactly and are they any good?

I currently don't have the equipment for soldering my jump rings and I wondered if these would be a better bet than split rings.

    IMO, don't bother!!

They're very expensive, and are basically just a jump ring with a little notch in it to make sure they sit right when you close them. Not like a locking ring.

I firmly believe that a good jump ring, well closed, is more than strong enough for just about anything without needing to be soldered. But then I would say that

Thanks MizG, I'll save my pennies then
From the description it made it sound like they would close better than that.
