Smile Newbie about to take the plunge

    Hello everyone
I've been toying with the idea of silversmithing for years now. I'm a beader really but have now decided to stop thinking about it and ordered some silver and tools today!
I live in Southampton and am a maths teacher. I make jewellery in my spare time.
Looking forward to browsing the forum and 'meeting' you all
    Gemma

I think as a general rule and to take some of the heat off me - everybody should greet noobies with the question "what are you wearing?" that way it doesn't make me look so bad - show of hands every one
