Out of curiousity, do you buy in blanks, or did you have them hallmarked before you started bashing?

lc is Lower Case Jayne
I buy them in 4 mm strips of sterling and cut them to length.
Then I send them off to the assay office and have them stamped.
That way I can make custom bangles whenever I want to
The main disadvantage of this method is you tend to get wastage
By pre-cutting the lengths you have to allow plenty of silver
The main advantage is it gets around minimum Hallmarking charge and
gives me a quicker turnaround
