I totally appreciate the skill and workmanship, but it's not a style I warm to at all. I think it might be just because I would look so silly in anything that fiddly!

Hi Coco
I went to Goldsmiths 2009 last week and yes, it is fantastic. Another place to go which I thought was even better is ORIGIN 2009 at Somerset House that is really inspirational! and well worth the trip. I went this week and I am definitely going again next week. They are all so talented. It is a must.
Everyone should go if they can and it carries on over this weekend and next week.
Regards Christine
I'm relieved to hear that I'm not alone in not liking his work. I don't think I could post here what I really thought of it.
G'wan! You know you want to....
I know what you mean. Much of it is too fashionista or too bling
but I do like these.

I love the flowers Em but i dont find the piece as a whole attractive
Love the flowers too, It might work for me if it was done as a hair slide or simple tiara comb for a wedding. That said I can see why he's the darling of the 'fashion world'. The skill is something to aspire to and probably makes a lot of money.

All things are possible - if you look at them the right way!
Christine, I wanted to go to Origin but those two weeks I just had so much on already I couldn't fit it in. I have promised myself next year though.
Are Origin and the Goldsmiths fair only held once a year?
