My partners relies arrived from Scotland today for week, they nearly fainted 33deg, Monday ( holiday here in SA ) forecast 37deg, don't think they will venture outside much

Oh God I’d be in a darkened room for the duration! 23 is quite nice here but then the haar comes in by evening and you have to put more clothes on. When we were in Poland years ago visiting relatives the temp was about 32 but humid with thunderstorms everyday for most of the month. My aunt wasn’t amused by how wasted I was by it

I would be SO much happier there - especially if there's some humidity as well. My breathing problems mean I'm at my best in hot, damp air and having managed to get another chest infection recently, I've been moaning about the cold on a daily basis.

Hope they manage to have a nice time anyway!

The good thing is everything is air conditioned so it will only need to be a quick dash from the car.

I'm so over the grey damp cold and miserable weather here and longing for some sun. I'm OK up to around 40C but then I do wilt and seek the AC

Sounds like you should come over for a holiday 2.40am here still 33deg, we have a few more days of hot weather to go.
