New to this forum, and thought I'd say a quick hello!
Also - any advice on soldering platinum close to flush set diamonds?

Thanks for the input Peter, I sought out help from an old colleague, and he showed me how to successfully solder it without removing or harming the stones - so all worked out well!

Good for you. Were you going to share what you did to avoid burning the stones at those temperatures?
