Spinner rings.

3 years ago I made a number of these, mainly of the flared type which “went down” very well at craft fairs. I also made the non flared type also with great results. Now I have been asked to make 4 more of the non flared type for 4 daughters of the same family ! I have failed 3 times to solder the second outer ring on without fusing the spinners up! I can’t find the original instructions either! PLEASE can anyone point me in the right direction! I know somewhere there were some very comprehensive good instructions on the web , but I can’t find them!

My way was to waste a little metal by making the base too wide. Then I had an outside ledge to rest tiny snips of easy solder on. Take he flame away as soon as you see it melt, and trim off the spare. Dennis.

That’s a great idea. I will try that tomorrow. What with printer problems I am feeling a bit “burnt out” today!
