Has anyone come across any of these recently - I'm looking for the 7/8" (22mm) plastic backed snap on version in coarse and I don't seem to be able to find them anywhere - I used to get them from Fischer, but even if it weren't viable to buy there any more, they don't seem to have them now. I've also found them at dental and podiatry supply houses, but again, nothing.

If anyone has any brilliant ideas, I'd be grateful - I'm down to my last handful and use them constantly.

There are the original paper ones George, for which the agents are Kemdent. They can be reduced in size by running them fastish, and holding a needle to the smooth side at an angle. (watch your eyes.)

As always Dennis, you are a star - KKD have options that would definitely work (albeit at a price!) I've tried the Kemdent (and other paper versions) and they just don't last for what I'm doing, and one of the side-effects of my rather boring and ongoing health problems is that I can no longer file by hand for long as I end up feeling what can only be described as motion sick from the repetitive strokes, so the Moore's have been a godsend. I might get some delivered to a family member in Germany who can bring them over for me and save me the horrible shipping fees that everyone in Europe seem to charge us now.

Are these of any use? They are cutting rather than sanding discs. I've not used armitage tools before but they were advertising on Facebook last week. The sanding discs are sold out.

Thank you Alistair - not what I need for this, but a very useful link and some interesting tools there! I may well try some of the cutting discs (another thing I use a lot of!)
