Cheers Josef, i’m sure you could much more accurately achieve it with your kit … it was the fettling to fit that was rather freaky I nearly gave up, but then finally it fitted … N

I'm not sure was a nice clean casting you got. I think the problem with fit may be because of shrinkage I'm not sure though.

Originally I thought that getting a cast key to fit a lock may be a mile too far to attempt, like you say with shrinkage and fettling. But thought it will make an interesting video to attempt. Failure is a part of life but my pride doesn’t like including it in a video, but there’s always a first time for everything. To my absolute shock and delight, after an hour or so with fettling frustrations … finally a fantastic and fulfilling fit … N
