Default Best place to buy second hand tools and machinery?

Hello! Looking for recommendations on where to shop for second hand tools and machinery? Looking for ultrasonic bath at the moment.

    Thanks!

You may want a pro version but I got a passable basic one for under a tenner at Aldi!

I have a cheap ish one from Amazon it even has a temp gauge. As Dennis said an old toothbrush and washing up liquid with hot water usually does the trick and I only really use mine for chains which tend to hold on to more of the compound

Ultrasonic cleaning is only useful if you are putting through large batches, and have an upmarket professional machine.
For anything less, you are better off using hot detergent and a brush.
If anyone is selling off their machine, it could be that they have come to the same conclusion. Dennis.

I have a cheap one from Amazon ( it was under £20). Nothing fancy- I just fill with hot tap water and a squirt of washing up liquid.

I use it mostly for cleaning the dirt of ages out of existing jewellery which it does very well. I have a load of (worthless) silver sixpences which I've been asked to set and it's brought them up beautifully.

I rarely use it for pieces I've made!

Hi Kirsty, I have a Silverbrite Anti Tarnish plating system for £20 which is listed on Facebook Marketplace but Ebay is also good. Let me know if you are interested in the plater, Shirley
