    Default Hallmarking help

Hi, I make cabachon rings etc and I use fine silver (.999) bezel strip soldered onto sterling silver (.925) back plate, how would this be hallmarked??

    Thanks!

Hi Billieellen. It’ll be marked as 925 being the predominant metal

It also depends on the weight if its below 7.78 grams it can be marked 925 or 999 by yourself, You still can have it hallmarked below 7.78 grams and as above it would be marked as sterling.
