Hello, I would love some advice on this problem that has happened a few time with some of my setting, manly rings. After a year, minimum, a dark mark appears under the stone a long where the stone is set to the band or a jump ring. I use easy solder paste, is this wrong? Also it’s not ever stone only some. Thank you for your help, I’ve tried to attach a photo don’t know if it worked 🤪

I guess it's tarnish and not to do with your solder, and will only show with translucent stones, obviously.
So before setting make sure that the bezel cup is clean of pickle, dry and well finished.
Make sure that the bezel is thoroughly pushed home. Check under magnification.
Do not wear the ring while washing up, preparing food, gardening etc.
Below is one of my rings. The texture of the bezel floor is still bright, but will no doubt eventually tarnish Dennis.

One thing you can do is cut a thin piece of fine silver or mylar (silver foil used on helium balloons) and put that under your stone.
