    Default Awol

Apologies for being rather absent at the moment. I'm in Intensive Care with a rather unexpected and nasty respiratory problem (non-covid), and only managed to log in with my phone tonight.

I'm not looking for sympathy. I seem to be heading in the right direction right now. I just wanted to say sorry for not being around - this lovely forum needs its people and I'd hate anyone to think I was ignoring it.

Stay well everyone, I'd hate anyone else to have to ghrough this one!

Oh dear, we have been wondering. Wish you a speedy recovery George. Been missing you, Dennis.

I had thought there were a few questions up your street recently but assumed you had escaped the country at last George.
Sorry to hear you are so poorly, the best place to be when you are ill. We’ll think good thoughts until you’re home x

Thank you all so much. The good wishes have meant a great deal to me.

I'm still in ICU, but very much improved and hoping to be sent to a ward soon. In the meantime, I hope everyone has a lovely long Easter weekend with plenty of sunshine, smiles and chocolate.

That is good news George. I have to get work to assay first thing Tuesday so I’m polishing and finishing and doing chains but guess I could fit in some chocolate under the mask! X
