Hey everyone, I've been apart of Cooksongold for a while now but only just got around to saying hi now. It's great to be apart of this and I'm really looking forward to interacting and gaining more knowledge around jewellery making ideas. I am just establishing my business Little Gems Trends and am starting to look into Silver clay. Is anyone else doing this with their projects?

Hi Gemma, and a welcome to your first post. Using clay is not a mainstream activity for jewellery makers, because it is an expensive way of buying silver, and is not as versatile as other methods . However many of us have experimented with it at some time, so we should be able to answer your questions.

Aww, ok, thank you for this Dennis. I will be using other jewellery ideas too and am thinking of getting some sheet metal. I'm sure there will be plenty of things that we will still all have in common to talk about whilst I'm here.
