    Default New bench

As we speak I have a man in building me my first bench. So excited. Previous to this my surface has been a bouncy breakfast bar at the wrong height, leading to chronic neck pain. Hoping it will lead to even greater productivity with everything to hand and no more travelling across the room to get my drill out of a cupboard every time I want to use it.

I was just thinking about that and how excited you’ll be. Hope it all goes well. Glad the wood is being put to good use

I will Dennis . So far there's been a lot of sawing. The boards are already cut up and form the bench. I went with a shallow cut out so that the bench pin could fit in the wardrobe and the door drawn across, when not in use, without impediment. Other wood is being used to make a wee shelf unit.

Well here it is my new bench in a wardrobe. I've found in so much better already and my productivity has improved. When you have everything to hand it makes such a difference.
