Love that knot!!! In the description of your video it would be really useful to have information on the gauge of wire you used and what the tool your using is called.

I confess I rarely watch Youtube techniques videos - if I do they're usually sped up as I don't have the patience for rabbiting on (possibly hypocritical given the number of tangents I can introduce into one conversation). That's short & sweet, so I've liked & subscribed.

Very nicely done - clear, concise and with the addition of gauge (and perhaps mention of presoldering rings), very useful.

My only technical comment would be that I can't be alone in preferring to watch video on a tablet/laptop/desktop rather than phone, so much prefer landscape orientation to portrait 'phone' style. But that may just be because I'm so old and don't default to doing everything on a phone.

I will second that, I just turn off if there is a strange strip of video in the centre of the screen

I don’t really watch videos but have found these informative and the music has better taste than usual!
I don’t have a phone and I’m usually on my tablet so find the portrait format limiting too but really nicely done

just got home from work and read all your lovely comments. thanks for all your feedback it’s a great help.

it’s maybe now time to switch back to longer play videos that are in landscape format.

i’ve been making YouTube “shorts” that have to be less than 60 seconds long and in portrait format mostly to get my views count up.

what i can try to do is to keep the “shorts” for a version of a fuller and longer play landscape video.

thanks all for being there and helping .... Nick
