Default Soft Pitch needed for deep repousse

    Hi all

I've looked at all the posts about obtaining the soft black pitch for deep repousse work, but these posts were some time ago, so I thought I would find out if anyone has any recommendations for very soft pitch now.

At college, I used the deep bowls with the thick black pitch.

I have bought one of Cooksons shallow bowls, so wondered if the Cooksons black setters pitch would be ok to use.

Or perhaps you have found another supplier that maybe sell less toxic fumey pitch?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Sue

So sorry. I've just seen that they sell this at Cousins.

That's good. Perhaps later we could see some pictures of your adventures with repousse. Dennis

Yes definitely. I still have all my repousse tools that I made in 1988!
