Hello,

Hope it's ok, but thought I'd share my first bit of silversmithing since I came back to my jewellery making obsession. For the past 3 months, I've been learning wire wrapping, but switched to silversmithing once my children went back to school. I've made a spinner ring (so I could take part in the Jewellers' Academy challenge) - so a bit of practice with soldering, sizing of rings and lots of experimentation with getting the outer ring to fit on the inner ring. It's far from perfect (and I still need to work on finishes), but I'm pleased that a) it fits and b) the solder seam did not split!

Would love to hear your thoughts
