    Default Leafy border pattern ring

This is a ring made from Argentium silver with an engraved leaf pattern. Its a traditional pattern and there are many varieties, I found myself drawn to the more simpler style for this ring. I did a fair bit of practice with the pattern first but had problems when engraving around the curve, a lower heel angle solved the problem, around 5 degrees instead of my usual 15. I used an engraving tool that I've developed myself using a cheap solenoid.

Some engraving is too geometrical for my taste. This is soft and beautiful. Definitely an heirloom piece. Dennis.

I loved watching this being made - and the end result is just delicious. You should be feeling very smug indeed

Thank you Bob, it just takes time to learn with practice and patients, to not give up.

Thank you George, I feel relieved - the first one I did is in the scrap pot!
