    Hammerite, direct to rust is good stuff. No undercoat needed they say.

    Some years back when I went on a pressing course at the Cass in Whitechapel, the workshop had just been refurbished. The place looked marvellous and all the presses had been done in blue Hammerite. In fact all the machinery: the vices, the floor standing lathe, you name it.

    The only problem was that many of the moving parts were glued together and first we had to lend a hand to free them. Dennis

    ah! I have some Hammertone to paint my new mill when it arrives maybe the hallmark press will catch the over spray.
