I'm thinking of making some some earrings in white gold to show off some greyish brown diamonds and wondered what pitfalls I should look out for.
I have only worked with yellow gold, 9, 14 & 18ct so far.
Thanks guys

Hi Theresa.
!8ct white is OK to work with, but to my eye rather dull looking. 9ct has a pretty, slightly yellow cast, but tends to collapse if overheated. So it's best to use medium solder with it.
I've never used 14ct. Kind regards, Dennis.
Thanks Dennis, perhaps I wont bother with it then, the price has put me off a bit as well.
