'Summer is Icumen In'
So goes the ancient song, although you wouldn’t have thought so from the cool and rainy weather we were having at the time of writing, in early June.

No doubt it’s better across the Channel where my daughter lives, so I decided to send her a summer necklace to go with her tan. The postal service seems to be working well and they are now allowed to have meals at outdoor restaurants: an excuse for dressing up.

My pictures show the 3mm thick strips of Perspex glued together to form billets, the silver supports used, and the final necklace, after quite a lot of piercing and sanding.

She already had some silver hoops to wear with it.

Luckily it did get there, so I sent the matching ring. Dennis.
