    Default Sad Bench pin situation

    Had a little accident, my bench pin is not what it once was. Any sort of rehabilition possible or should I just get my sel a new one. Main issue is no longer having a v

    Glue it up with pva cramp overnight, the joint will be stronger than the timber

    you can also use a jubilee clip if you dont have a clamp

    Use two pieces of cord or string. Tie across the break round the peg loosely then insert a pencil..screwdriver, or about a 6 inch rod of some sort under each cord and turn the “rod”round like a tourniquet. That will give you all the compression you will need!

    I don't have a jubilee clip either so I'm erring towards the sellotape or the string . I didn't think I'd get so many great replies, thanks everyone
