Default Should i do buffing at the end?

    Hello experts,

I need your views regarding polishing .

So right now, first - I clean my jewellery with boiling sulpheric acid.
    Then i buff the jewellery
then i put the jewellery in vibrator machine
then i use metal brush and brush the jewellery manually.
Then i put the jewellery in ultrasonic machine.

I know that my process is wrong.
Can anyone guide me the correct sequence?

How do i polish my jewellery? please guide me.

Did you not say you were a goldsmith Patni? The process would be just the same.
This book is being regularly suggested so it might be worth buying

Thanks for the mention about my book Polishing and Finishing for Jewellers and Silversmiths by Stephen M Goldsmith published by Crowood Press.
I use 3 stages in my method and expect the metal to be prepared up to a minimum of 2000 grit the higher the number the better.
So start off with a black bristle brush and I use brushing emery compound and this removes fire stain too, move on to a B mop (cream) with Tripoli or brown bar of choice and then a Reflex Calico mop (white) and use rouge, you can clean between stages in the ultrasonic and the last compound I use is Menzerna 175 for yellow metal or M5 for white metals, this is used with a soft white mop for extra gloss. I do plenty of demonstrations on my Instagram grid.
    Good luck

Dear Patni, If you want to polish like a professional, Then get the book and study it.

In the mean time, you can simplify the method you already use, as follows:

Don't use boiling acid. The fumes are bad for your heath, so it can be just warm. Better still use safety pickle which comes as a powder to dissolve in water, because it will not make holes in your clothes. A third option is to use a hot alum solution.

Next rinse and inspect for any areas that need tidying up. Then brush with a wet and soapy jewellers brass brush.

Lastly polish with your vibrator and Barrelbrite. Dennis.
