    Default Oxidising chain

After oxidising my chain in platinol then rubbing it down with a green scrubby I leave it at that. Should I be waxing the thing?

It will give it a temporary gloss which is quite nice, Sheena. Don't waste your money on fancy stuff though. Furniture wax, or spray wax polish will do it, applied sparingly (possibly with fingers), so as not to clog the chain. Dennis.

I don’t. I use the wee polishing pads we’ve spoken about before to take down the platinol which polish’s at the same time. Then I just use a duster if I want it any shinier

I just run them down the chain to highlight then if you want a bit of a shine just do the same with a duster
