Default Combining hydrogen peroxide with citric acid pickle?

    Hi folks!
I have heavy copper plating on a bronze piece I’m working on and I can’t clean it off in some hard-to-reach areas. I’ve used hydrogen peroxide with Sparex before but I currently pickle with Nature’s Touch Citric Acid. Can I combine hydrogen peroxide with citric acid?
    Thanks very much!

Yes, but only experiment will tell whether the copper will budge. Failing that, obviously go back to Sparex, also known in UK as safety pickle. Welcome to the forum Dennis.

Super pickle using citric acid and hydrogen peroxide does work, I use citric as my pickle. And it works fine to get the copper oxides off of bronze.
