Default My Robin Piece - thanks for advice.

Thanks so much everyone that offered advice. He is finished, well I think having just done a zoom in he could do with a little more polishing but pretty much finished. I learnt some time ago that Robins have special meanings to some. There is a sweet saying 'when Robins appear a loved one is near' He is a keepsake piece, so glad I manged to salvage him.

I was wondering how you were getting on Karen; he's rather special, your Robin. Simple and elegant.

Thanks so much Dennis, he's not too bad, a final polish get rid of one line I can see and I'll be happy with him.

Thank you, that's really lovely of you. I mostly work from photos either I take or people send me and then simplify, I like simple, it suits me

Thank you he's turned out not too bad, given the initial gap and then the little line that appeared when I filled that.

Thank you Alastair, me too. I was sure I had a perfect fit in the first place so hadn't expected the gap to be there, but at least it's sorted.

Thank you everyone. Just need to pop a little wax over his red breast now so that the copper doesn't tarnish.
