    Default Opinion Betts Metals

Ok I am trying to be politically correct with this but I can't find a way to, so I'll come right out and ask does Betts Metals have a good reputation

They are an old established company Bob, never heard anything bad about them. I’ve only used them a few times surprisingly because I found Cookson website easier to buy from even though it isn’t actually any better.
Must get better at shopping around

They got taken over a bit ago and the prices went very expensive in my opinion but the service has always been good for me.

I find them okay - and do a phone call if I need anything before making an order. They used to be slow in processing, but that has sped up.

I use them for a few findings and things I can't get anywhere else.
They've always been nice to deal with, but I have had occasions when quite a few items have been out of stock and I've had to wait a long time which can be a bit unnerving when you have customers waiting. I suppose that could be said for anywhere though.

I use them for some things, though I find them expensive for bullion in particular. They took over Sutton Tools, so I use them a bit for tools that only they seem to stock these days. I've never had any problems with them, but Cookson remain my go-to.
