    Default Fretz Hammers

Interesting situation, I have a couple of Fretz Hammers, one ran away and became severely injured, now has a handle only half as long, for authenticity I inquired about purchasing a replacement, no can do
replacements are not available, you would think a item such as a Fretz hammer with it's high reputation and over inflated price would have replacements

Granted, handles are consumable items - but I'm more than a bit surprised that they don't offer replacements. Very odd. If only you knew someone who could do woodwork...
(Yes, I'd probably bodge it with a drawknife, but I'm not a cabinet maker!)

That’s what I love about my fretz hammers, the handles are my bit of tool porn, they are so lovely to hold and I would imagine to replicate. You'd think they are missing a trick not selling replacements unless they hope you’ll just buy a new hammer

Yes too true, made in just about the least expensive country on the planet to have castings produced, then charge more than any other brand, in saying that I did not purchase them ( I now make my own ) they were given to me by some one who had no use for them

Lucky you. They are more expensive than the others I’ve bought but not outrageously so. I’m wondering if you pay much more in Oz
