    Microscopes in engraving are a relatively new addition though. Used to be either naked eye or with an eyeglass (and yes, many still work without scopes).

    Still working on my lettering; it's not ready for public consumption yet. Once it is, the jump to inside ring engraving shouldn't be too bad (well, for script anyway). I keep meaning to look for resources on engraving uncial...

    All I do is lettering and I have found it really hard even with the air graver, well the smaller lettering anyway-4mm and under.
    My biggest problem was getting the shape right on the graver for that though as I was getting drag on the curves and corners.
    I haven't done inside rings yet but I notice Steve has a new template for that which is good judging by the video as the angle gives you better clearance.

    I have a dual angle fixture, so I don't use the templates. Anything that's on there I can grind without them.
