I couldn't work in that muddle, far too "busy".

This reminds me of when a man applied for a job as a labourer on a construction site. The forman opened a shed and said take your pick and the man had a nervous breakdown.

Hubby bought me an antique rolling mill for my birthday (not until August, but it's a big one!) It's a thing of beauty, needs a good clean and a bit of TLC, but the rollers seem in decent condition and I love it simply as an object. Made in Birmingham around late 1890s by Mark Morton & Son.

Before I clean the rollers properly, I plan to roll some pieces of copper and silver through it, to preserve some of its past. Click image for larger version.

WoW!! Those truly are beautiful .....I like your idea of rolling some sheet before doing any work on them to preserve some of their past

I have a tiny fraction of the amount and have problems finding them. I think I'd be overwhelmed by that!

That is a thing of beauty indeed. I love old things like that.

Here is my little workshop room (aka the dining room!). Basic but functional, I need to sort out all the bags and boxes of beads and get some more storage in there, but all my tools have somewhere to live now. Click image for larger version.

It'll never be as clean and tidy again, but that's good too. Dennis.
