Thanks Vos. It's all been changed around now. The teaching area has gone and is now a packing room. No more teaching for me! It's quite a relief actually, though I did make some very good friends and met some lovely people.

Are you guys ready for some serious workshop porn?? This is not my working area (may take some pics of my basement hovel eventually) but a man called John de Rosier. I'm a sucker for custom adapted tools etc and this guy has them up the wazoo!

    Drool.....

I'm speechless. Even James Miller might have to concede as far as workbenches are concerned.

But as a means to an end, what do you think of this? https://www.behance.net/gallery/8005...Jewelry-Design

There's a good write-up on John de Rosier's bench setup in the Ganoksin Bench book detailing the tweaks; there's a lot of other interesting advice on bench set up too - not least of which is sorting the ergonomics.

Fabulous thread! So interesting to see all of your set-ups. Super jealous of your workshop Carole - it looks so warm and cosy. Will have to try and dig some images out..

Hi all. Remember me? I used to hang out here

Well house move complete, and unpacked(ish!). Felt it was time to get the tools out of mothballs... So here's Mancave v2.1
