    Dear Ruedeleglise,
I'm glad that you have solved your problem, but it would extend our database and help other members if you could explain how you did it?
    Dennis.

Sorry for not replying sooner, but I seem to be having all sorts of problems with Tapatalk. Have they updated or altered it recently? Anyhow I used “Maas” metal polish on the silver used very sparingly on a cotton bud. As suggested I then used toothpaste again with a cotton bud on the amber. Finally I used a soft cloth over both. I bought the polish years ago and must get some more if I can find out where to get it.

The toothpaste is maybe even rougher than rouge on a soft mop when you think what it cleans from our teeth! This piece of amber was brought up to a high Polish on a rouge mop so don’t be frightened just be gentle
