Hello everyone and I am new to this forum although I had been reading some useful tips before I registered.

I am a second year mature student of Fashion Jewellery at London Met Uni and live in Lewisham London.

I started with beading, investing a small fortune and self teaching via the net and books about 4 years ago whilst working ft and decided to resign and study jewellery design and making.

I did some part time courses in jewellery making and drawing to get me into Uni.

I have found this forum very helpful and useful and am looking forward to sharing tips and join in discussions. I feel like a part of a community already.

Hi Lurvly1 and welcome to the forum. Going back to education sounds very exciting, I'm hoping to maybe start a part time foundation degree next year, but I don't know if it will happen or not yet, I hope so!
