Default Cooksons 24ct gold foil vs Silverclay

I have been using Silverclay's 3.5cmx5cm 24ct gold foil for Keum-boo but Cookson's would be far more cost effective. Has anyone used Cookson's for Keum-boo, I am a bit nervous as it's only under their enamelling section. I need the foil to 'tinkle' I believe. I already have gilding leaf so don't need anymore if it's not suitable.
    thanks

The foil used for enamelling would generally be too thin for keum-boo

I'm with Nic, you need thicker Korean foil (hint hint Cooksons). You could try US markets, allcraft is known for their Keum Boo foil. PMC studio also have it but I think more expensive. You could also try silver clay pit, zama art clays.
