Default How to - Aluminium - dye - paint - print - saw

Hello, here is my first question.

So, I can buy the anodised Aluminium in Cooksongold webshop, even coloured already.
But how to dye/colour it yourself?
    And how to print?
    No idea how to start.
    Suggestions welcome.

I am new, so I want to practice on Aluminium.
Any suggestions for which type of saw to buy?

    Have a nice summer day.

https://www.cooksongold.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1584 covers some of the basics on colouring it.

Printing I'd look at screen printing.

As for saws - Eclipse, Vallorbe, Knew Concepts. Some people like the Green Lion frames; I can't comment on them as I've never handled one.
If you're working with large sheets, you may need a deeper throat sawframe than the usual ~3" jewellers frames.

There is so much to learn, that a course would be the best way to start. Failing that, some books as offered here: https://www.google.com/search?client...nium+jewellery Dennis
