Default One Step Forward Two Steps Back.

A message came up to say that a family member had lost a large gold ring I made. I agreed to replace it but suggested it had best be only silver this time.

We decided not repeat the design as it had not brought much luck, but instead used a more elaborate variation of my very first ring, made at Morley College when I joined, in the summer term of 1994.

There is the moon with stars, some cut out and some attached, and the sun rising above a cloud.
I also needed hide the join on the finely textured background and came up with the idea using her birth sign, Capricorn to make it more personal.

A little exercise in piercing and wire bending. Dennis.

Thats beautiful Dennis, I especially love the birth sign, great way to hide the join.

Beautiful as always Dennis. Let's hope this one doesn't go the way if the former one.

Thank you Deb, but in the real world, that is what keeps jewellers in work and puts insurance companies into administration. Dennis.
