    Default New old looking ring

It's been a while since I experimented, this is what I came up with. I bashed the silver on the concrete outside my house, added a thick jump ring as a bezel, some bronze granules and then flush set the 3.3mm garnet, two 2mm orange sapphires and two 1.5mm amethysts. A bit of gold plating to enrich how it looked and I'm a happy bunny.

very nice indeed..... A very unique ring also has a authentic look...... ie .... “found in a field with a metal detector”

It's a fair cop, in reality I have a stash of treasure that I pretend to have made.

I'd wear that in a heartbeat! I'd probably get arrested for nicking it from some museum, but it would be worth it. Fab

I'm especially envious because it's a look I seem to be incapable of pulling off, despite how much I like it.

Very nice ring, I love your method of texture. I've been looking at making something similar but have not taken the plunge yet.
