I would start with a sturdy loose chain, such as Cooksons Prince of Wales rope. Then choose some two-hole silver beads, enlarging the holes if necessary, and add them at measured intervals. They can be tacked in place with tiny amounts of easy solder.
Use a soft flame in a darkened work area to avoid overheating the chain. Dennis
Great thanks for your help Dennis!
I was a little nervous about the 2 hole beads as the cooksongold catalogue mentioned they were not suitable for soldiering?
These are what I had in mind: https://www.cooksongold.com/Beads/St...ads&channel=uk
Your chain is likely to be about 2.0mm thick, so the holes will need reaming out
Obviously they can be collapsed if overheated, hence my caution. Dennis.
Will give this a try, thank you!
